A peaceful B&B stay in the Esk Valley
Meadowsweet is our peaceful private ensuite room for two, tucked away at Laneside in the beautiful Esk Valley.
With a comfortable king-size bed, countryside views and plenty of thoughtful little touches, it’s a lovely base for a few days exploring the North York Moors and Yorkshire coast — or simply somewhere to slow down and enjoy the peace.
The room has everything you need to make yourself at home, including a fridge, kettle, toaster and Nespresso coffee machine, along with wine glasses, crockery and cutlery. There’s also a 40-inch TV for quiet evenings in, and Egyptian cotton bath sheets and hand towels are provided.
Breakfast at your own pace
A generous continental breakfast is provided in your room for you to enjoy whenever you fancy it — so there are no breakfast times to worry about and no need to get up for a set sitting.
You’ll find our award-winning homemade bread and preserves, butter, yoghurts, milk and fruit juice, along with a selection of sweet and savoury spreads and porridge pots.
Everything is there ready for you to make breakfast when it suits you, whether you’re heading out early for a day exploring or enjoying a slow morning at Laneside.
A little space outdoors
Meadowsweet looks out across the surrounding countryside, and guests are welcome to enjoy the outdoor spaces at Laneside, including the garth at the front of the property and our guest patio. Take a coffee outside, find a spot on the bench and simply sit for a while with the valley views.
